I’m FtM and I don’t want top surgery. I don’t want bottom surgery. I probably won’t even go on T.
But when I first realized I was trans, I did want all of that. Because it was the norm. A good percentage of trans society tells boys that they should aspire to look cis, that they should aspire to be masculine. But I’ve realized that I don’t need that.
I like my boobs. I like my small waist and curvy hips and feminine face. I like makeup, dresses, and high heels. I want to get pregnant with my beautiful girlfriend’s child.
And you know what? That’s okay. None of that makes me any less of a man. And nothing you do, transmen reading this, makes you any less of a man. Do what you feel comfortable with.
Never feel pressured to meet societal gender norms.
